Unable To Make Sequential Group Assignement For Trunks And Trunk Group CKTID Not Getting Updated (Doc ID 1638188.1)

Last updated on MARCH 21, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications MetaSolv Solution - Version 6.2.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Customer reported problems with trunk product ordering and provisioning:

1) MSS is creating the circuit IDs out of order which is causing the circuits to be displayed out of order in the TGN Assignment window.
And, the circuits are sorted by ECCKT in the Group Assignment window which is also incorrect and unable to do sequential trunk group assignment

2) If the BTN is assigned prior to entering any trunk group info, the circuit ID only has the BTN and segment number, it does not include the signaling direction (DI, DO or 2W).
If these values are entered prior assigning the BTN, than the circuit IDs are updated with the co direction.

3) If more trunks are added to an existing trunk group that already has a BTN assigned the new trunks automatically do not pickup BTN to form a circuit ID.
Actually, the user has to remove and re-assign the BTN to get the new trunks to update
