Mac OS iCal Client Shows Errors When Adding CalDAV Account / Adding Shared CalDAV Account (Doc ID 1638868.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 19, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Calendar Server - Version 7.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When adding a CalDAV account to Mac OS (10.6.8) with iCal (4.0.4) we get the following error messages:

HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error
to Operation
CalDAVRefreshDelegateListQueueableOperation

The error appears just two times when starting iCal.  Afterwards, normal operation is possible.  This error appears for all existing users from an older version of calender 7 (7u4).  When we created a new user, this error disappeared.

Adding a shared calendar from other users is impossible.  When we try to delegate a calender in iCal, we get an error that the account we want to delegate to is not found.

The Server responded with an error.

There was an unexpected error with the request
(domain CalDAVErrorDomain / error 5 / description
'The server has not specified an calendar home for the
account at "/dav/dav/principals/user@domain.tld/ --
https://caldav.domain.tld/".').
