Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Point-of-Service (ORPOS), the same serial number can be sold twice in one transaction.


Steps to Reproduce:

  Pre-requisite: 'IMEIEnabled=true" in the application.properties file.

  1. Log in into POS.
  2. Enter or scan the serial number of a serialized item.
  3. Enter the same item/serial number a second time.
  4. Tender takes place successfully, and cashier is able to sell the same item/serial number twice in the same transaction.
