Last updated on JUNE 15, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Commerce Platform - Version 10.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

You see JSP Source Displayed when navigating to storefront pages that utilize Endeca Assembler Cartridges or pages authored in Endeca Experience Manager. You have already configured your web.xml in accordance to suggestions in the following article:

Incorrect web.xml Configuration Causes 404 Errors Or Displays JSP Source When ATG Tries To Render Endeca Cartridges/Pages (Doc ID 1596874.1)

Your setup also matches one of the following:

  1. You use Oracle Commerce Multisites and contextRoot is null.
  2. You use Oracle Commerce Multisites and contextRoot  is "/".    This also includes the case where you use domain based URLs and your contextRoot is "/"
  3. You use Oracle Commerce Multisites and contextRoot  and the productionURL (or siteBaseURL) are the same (for example, /crs).
  4. You do not use multisites. In this case your contextRoot does not get initialized, and remains null, thus matching the first bullet above.

If you use multisites, you have also verified that the /atg/multisite/SiteURLManager component has the correct URL to Site ID mappings.
