In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) 13.2.x, we experience a TRAN_OUT_BAL error after loading RTLOG with total retail value less than the tender amount. However, the difference is defined in the ROUNDED_OFF_AMT field in THEAD.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Prepare RTLOG with total retail value less than the tender amount for a transaction. Make sure that the difference is defined in the ROUNDED_OFF_AMT field in THEAD.
- Run Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) batches on RTLOG above.
- Check the transaction in Transaction Maintenance screen. Note that it is unbalanced with the difference between total retail and the tender amount, although the ROUNDED_OFF_AMT field holds this value in the RTLOG.
