Assembler Is Not Reading In Content When Using the "fileStoreFactory" Setting (Doc ID 1644822.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 22, 2019

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

An Assembler service that lives on a different server than the Workbench does not find the Workbench content when using the "fileStoreFactory" store factory setting in the /<front_end_app>/WEB-INF/ file (note, beginning in 11.2 this setting is found in the /WEB-INF/assembler.context file by default).  This setting allows for Assembler to read config from files exported from Workbench instead of contacting the Workbench repository directly.

The store.factory has two types, ecrStoreFactory and fileStoreFactory, and when using the fileStoreFactory the Assembler is not finding the local files to read in.  However, Assembler finds content correctly using the ecrStoreFactory setting, since it’s able to connect directly to Workbench.

Where are the content files stored when using the the fileStoreFactory setting?
