Unable To Login To MDT With "no deployment found" If User Group Is Not Associated With A Deployment Type

When attempting to log in with any crew and the user is associated to a user group that is not named as Field Services, the user / crew will get a "no deployment found" error. Only after the user group that this user was associated to was switched back to Field_Services can the user log in successfully to the MDT.
Is there any hard-coding in the login script, or any script, that is used by the MDT where the user cannot be associated to any other user group other than Field Services in order to log in successfully and use the MDT?
