Grid Alignment and Grid Column Positioning in UI Maps Are in the Wrong Direction for Right to Left Languages like Arabic (Doc ID 1663535.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 18, 2016

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Grids on some base UI Maps like C1-AuditCaseDisplay do not display in the correct direction for right to left (RTL) languages like Arabic.
In specific, the grid alignment is on the leftmost side. The Column position in the grid is not correct - i.e. first column is to the leftmost side of the grid and the last column is to the rightmost side of the grid.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Grids are expected to be right aligned. Columns in grids are expected to have the following positioning: first column to the rightmost side of the grid and last column to the leftmost side of the grid.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. log in in Arabic language
2. navigate to the Arabic equivalent of Main Menu - Case Management - Audit Case
3. Notice the Arabic Audit Case page is not right to left. In specific, the grids are left aligned with their columns starting from the left side - i.e. column 1 to the leftmost side of the grid and last column to the rightmost side of the grid.
