Several BSP substitution variables are not documented.  More information is required on the substitution variables TP_UA_PID_CB, TP_UA_PID_NB, TP_UA_VC_CB, TP_UA_VC_CB, VW_RES_DTL_NB, VW_RES_DTL_CB and ThisYear. The questions are:

Question 1. When do the substitution variables get defined/set and by which process?
Question 2. How does the substitution variable ThisYear get set and what uses it? It is not set in the BSP configuration screen.
Question 3. Is there any blocking mechanism to prevent the values in the substitution variables from getting overridden in a multi user environment?
Question 4. Since the substitution variable VW_RES_DTL_NB contains the value for the view in the format VW_RES_DTL_NEW_BUSS_###### where # is the process ID for the new business run, how will two users execute the new business business rule at the same time without a collision?
Question 5. Since the substitution variable TP_UA_VC_NB contains the version of the new business run how will the users execute the new business rule for forecast and budget at the same time?
Question 6. After the initial configuration steps have been executed to setup BSP in a distributed environment, can we simply copy the file config.xml from the Planning server to the Essbase server after any change has been made to the configuration screen?
