Smauto.exe Continuously Crashes On A Windows Server (Doc ID 1666346.1)

Last updated on MARCH 25, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Mobile Workforce Management - Version 2.1.0 and later
Oracle Real-Time Scheduler - Version 2.1.0 and later
Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit)

Symptoms

The SMAUTO process stops for no apparent reason. This has a high impact because when this error occurs the activities scheduled in the application are not displayed correctly in the gantt and scheduler operation stops. To workaround the issue we need to restart the spl.cmd batchscheduler or do a full server restart.
