(Doc ID 1667648.1)
Last updated on MARCH 29, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.4.0.1.0 to 7.5.0.0.0 [Release 7.4.0 to 7.5.0]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
An user has activated the opcode_stats feature in production for their Real time rating system to track response times for the reservation and accounting opcodes with below settings:
However, the feature is not proving acceptable in production as it generates a huge amount of logs that contain no information as it generates a report for each opcode listed and each CM connection regardless of whether the opcodes have actually been called.
In production, there are a large number of CM connections from the mediation system (around 1000) as well as a PCP connection which acts as a keep-alive check for a load balancer which connects every 10s. This implies that over 90% of CM connections shows 0 opcode called for the 2 opcodes specified in the pin.conf and there 90% of the logs generated by this feature are of no use.
