Applies to:Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.3.0 to 5.0.2 [Release 4.3 to 5.0]
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)
On Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC or NCC) versions earlier than 5.0.2 inclusive, the PIprocess processes have a known memory leak.
The rate of the memory leak depends on the amount of traffic being processed by the Provisioning Interface (PI).
Once the PIprocess memory hits approximately 4G (232), further memory allocation will fail and the PIprocess will crash. The PImanager should find the PIprocess has died and restart it.
Usage of the PI.
