Customer has Demantra 126.96.36.199 integrated with EBS 188.8.131.52 and VCP 184.108.40.206
They have a configuration of one Item having different UOM for different ORG (item= A /Org=1 have one conversion and then item=A /Org=2 have different conversion)
How does demantra handle uom which are different in different orgs?
Specific details to their case is that the primary_uom_code in EBS is not a Master Control attribute. It is an organization control attribute.
The have an item 75300 which has primary_uom_code 'M' in org:POL and FT in the rest of the orgs.
When they ran the UOM conversions for Demantra they saw conversions on FT UOM column(EBSUOM100) has 3.28084 and in M UOM column(EBSUOM103) as 1.
Since the conversion factor is at item level and not at item org combination level how do they know for which org the conversion is for.
For eg if they have shipped 100 qty from org PRD:065 in FT and now when they use the token in the worksheet it will multiple by 3.28084 and show as 328.084
Also EBSUOM101 in KG has conversion value blank.
EBSUOM102 is LB has conversion value blank.
Customer also mentions that when they run the UOM conversion it randomly selects one ORG to use as conversion
SO say, if an item had Meters in one org and Centimeters in another ORG, when they run the UOM, they do not know which ORG UOM is selected ( Meters or centimeters to do the conversion.
