Slow Convergence Login Due To Inactive Server Listed In local.service.proxy.serverlist (Doc ID 1670853.1)

Symptoms

Using the following components:

Convergence 2-4.01
Oracle Communications Messaging Server 7u4-25.01(7.0.4.25.0) 64bit (built Feb 29 2012)

We have started having a performance problem when logging into Convergence and accessing our mail.  We have an internal test that logs into Convergence using a user name and password and then logs out.  Our monitors show this test taking 8-9 seconds now, as opposed to the 4-5 seconds it used to take.  Our environment is fairly large and complex, and we've looked at a lot of the subsystems, and their performance seems close to previous values.  I really do not see any reason for the increase in time.  We just applied the latest quarterly patch upgrade and we also patched Java to 1.6_75.  The puzzling thing is, that none of those changes were made at precisely the time that the test started taking longer.
