Getting ORA-30926 When Processing Allocation With Lookup Table (Doc ID 167109.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Performance Analyzer (PA) 4.5, you get an internal error when processing an Allocation ID.  The following error message is in the request queue (rq) log and the OFSA_MESSAGE_LOG table:

ORA-30926: unable to get a stable set of rows in the source tables

The Allocation contains a Transaction table and uses a Lookup Table ID.

Example of update statement triggering the error:

update TIV103020011812261 a
set identity_code_chg=7040,
COST=greatest(-999999999999,least(999999999999,
decode(a.identity_code_chg,7040,a.COST,0)+(NVL(VOLUME, 0) * NVL(pg1lkup2, 0) )* 1))
where a.COMMON_COA_ID = :COMMON_COA_ID and a.as_of_date='09/30/2001'
