According to the new implementation design of Oracle Retail V14, a new Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) batch 'saexpsim' is introduced to generate sales files, and these become input to the Store Inventory Management (SIM) batch RetailSaleAuditImport. The output file format of the ReSA batch (flat file) does not match with the input file's format (pipe delimited) of the SIM batch.
Because of this, the SIM batch fails and is unable to consume the sales file from ReSA.
The mismatch is evident in both the SIM Operations Guide and the RMS Operations Guide, in the respective sections in which the file format is explained.
