Error 'Invalid username or password' When Authenticating the P6 Integration API with LDAP or WebSSO (Doc ID 1673756.1)

Symptoms

Unable to authenticate against the P6 Integration API when authentication is set to WebSSO. When attempting to authenticate,the following error occurs in P6WebAccess.html:

Failed login attempt against database P6 Integration for user <username> from <client host / IP addr>
com.primavera.common.exceptions.InvalidCredentialsException: Invalid user name and/or password.

While authenticating failed to get initial directory context URL=ldap://<host> Security= AuthenticationMode= Chase Referrals=1 User Key=uid
javax.naming.AuthenticationException: [LDAP: error code 49 - Invalid Credentials]

 The following error may also occur in the P6WebAccess.html log:

Failure attempting to authenticate user <username>
javax.naming.NamingException: [LDAP: error code 1 - LDAP Error 1 : Invalid virtualDITAdapter configration: User_J1;shadow4AD. The joiner adapter does not exist.]; remaining name ''

NOTE: This can occur in other P6 modules such as EPPM, Professional, Web Services, etc.
