Activity Missing From Resource's Timesheet

Information in this document applies to any platform.
A resource is unable to enter time for a specific activity in the timesheet.
For example: Unable to enter time for Activity1 in Project 123 for resource John Smith for 12-May to 23-May time period. The resource is assigned to the activity but the project cannot be expanded in the timesheet for the week of 18-May.
The user should be able to see the activities and enter time on the timesheet.
