Unable To Access Calendar - Login To Calendar Service Failed

We are using Convergence 3 and Calendar Server version 220.127.116.11.0.
We have just applied Calendar Server 7 patch 142785-15 and the patch installed fine. We also upgraded our java version, per the Release Notes of that version of the patch, which also went fine. But, now, when our users log into Convergence, they get an error popup when they try to access their calendar which stated "Login to calendar service failed."
Additionally, this same problem was seen when upgrading Calendar Server from patch 142785-15 to 142785-17.
After turning on DEBUG logging for the Convergence iwcadmin parameter log.PROXY_CAL.level, the following errors were noted in the iwc.log for the user login:
Installed CS7 patch 142785-15 on top of a Convergence 3 installation.
Installed CS7 patch 142785-17 over previous patch 142785-15.
