When the Event Data Record (EDR) configuration is modified on the admin console it changes and updates the wlng-edr.xml at $DOMAIN_HOME/config/custom/wlng-edr.xml by translating elements >,< with &gt and &lt etc.

This article helps in replacing the &gt and &lt symbols into readable format > and < in the wlng-edr.xml file.
