(Doc ID 1674708.1)
Last updated on DECEMBER 03, 2019
Applies to:
Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management - Version 8.2.2.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
During load testing of P6, the load testing tool (for example neoLoad) is reporting the following error message when issuing a GET request on .png or .css files after simulating high volume of load on the server:
Message: Network Error: An IO error occurred sending the request.
Details: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset
Changes
The environment in question is configured as such:
- Web Tier (Oracle HTTP Server (OHS)) --> Proxying Requests --> Application Server
- Web Tier (OHS) was configured with a web gate to be protected by a single sign on Access Server.
- Load Testing Tool was connecting to the environment as such: Load Testing --> Web Tier (OHS) --> Application Server
- P6 was not directly set to use WebSSO, but the Web Tier was configured with a web gate causing the web gate rules to still apply for any resources monitored by the Access Server.
