IPSA UI will "hang" When EBGP neighbour description is set to <default> (Doc ID 1677382.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 27, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Communications IP Service Activator - Version 7.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

If the user creates a L3 site, and sets the connectivity to EBGP, and sets the neighbour description to "" , then clicking another site tab and then returning to the EBGP tab will cause the UI to freeze and then hang. The "program is not responding" error will appear and the user will have to close and re-open the UI.

This behaviour is also evident on Virtual CE sites. It can also be reproduced if you have two interfaces and while on the EBGP settings tab in the site properties, you click away from one interface to another after setting the neighbour description.
