Is A Restart Required After Changing local.ssdblegacy From 1 to 0? (Doc ID 1680734.1)

Currently, our configutil setting of local.ssldblegacy is set to '1'. As such, we are solely using the legacy truststore and keystore database format of resp. cert8.db and key3.db. But now, we would like to start using the new  formats of cert9.db and key4.db

For this, we need to change local.ssldblegacy setting from 1 to 0.
Is a restart of the Messaging Service needed ?

Changing the local.ssldblegacy setting is not giving additional information on this :
