Goal

Both Proxyauth and SASL PLAIN Admin Proxy can be used by an administrator or an application to access a mailbox on behalf of a user without having to know the user's password.

This article discusses the difference between "proxyauth" and "SASL PLAIN Admin Proxy" and how to setup proxy authentication in the MMP.
