The POSUPLD Program Incorrectly Populating DAILY_SALES_DISCOUNT Table Inclusive Of VAT (Doc ID 1901511.1)

Symptoms

The POSUPLD  program is populating TRAN_DATA table correctly with the total retail value exclusive of Value Added Tax(VAT). But for the same transaction if it has discounts then DAILY_SALES_DISCOUNT table is populated inclusive of VAT.

Steps To Recreate:

  1. Make sure that SYSTEM_OPTIONS.class_level_vat_ind is 'Y' and class.class_vat_ind is 'N'.
  2. Run POSUPLD batch program.
  3. Verify DAILY_SALES_DISCOUNT and TRAN_DATA entries.
