Last updated on SEPTEMBER 14, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Calendar Server - Version 7.0 and later
Oracle Communications Convergence - Version 2.0 to 2.0 [Release 2.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Background

Convergence/Calendar uses WCAP over HTTP to access the Calendar Server. The current Convergence client (iwc_client) uses the "GET" method for most requests and "POST" for specific situations).

Functional change

Provide a Convergence customization so the WCAP uses the "POST" method got all requests, never use the "GET" method.

Scope

This customization has only be used for Convergence 2 with Calendar Server 7.

If you wish to use this in other configurations (customizing Convergence 3 -or- Convergence 2 with Calendar Server 6.3), please create an SR and discuss the solution with support.

This article assumes the reader is familiar with Convergence customizations.
