Toolbar Menu Buttons Do Not Always Work From Flyout in the Java Client (Doc ID 1904455.1)

Last updated on JUNE 21, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Agile Engineering Data Management - Version 6.1.2.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Oracle Agile e6.1.2.2 and e6.1.3.0 with the Java Client,

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
------------------------
Toolbar button menu buttons sometimes do not work when due to spacing they are placed in flyout menus. The icons are all there in the flyout, but they cannot be clicked / used.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
All selections from a menu placed in the toolbar button menu should always work.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
----------------------------
1. Start the Java Client with several toolbar button menus (defined in EDB-Toolbar)
2. Place the toolbar menus one behind the other in only one line (or in two lines if there are very many)
3. Resize the Java Client that the toolbars do not fit next to each other any more because the width of the Java Client window is too small
=> Some toolbar menus are not displayed completely any more but instead a double arrow (to the right) appears.
4. Click the double arrow to see the missing icons of the menu in a flyout
=> Sometimes the buttons on the flyout cannot be clicked (especially if the cursor does not move over the flyout menu from right to left or if the cursor leaves the flyout menu, moves over other buttons of that toolbar that are not in the flyout and then comes back to the flyout again).
