EBS: PS: Work Order Operation Durations Adjusted By Dynamic Throughput On PS Publish (Doc ID 1907278.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 28, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Production Scheduling - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : EBS - Production Scheduling (PS) version, Release Planned Orders To EBS

Dynamic Throughput is defined for a resource in PS. PS correctly considers the throughput value and calculates the run time for that operation. When publishing back into EBS, the throughput calculated run time is published and when the model is rescheduled in PS, the run time is inflated again. This is re-adjusted every time and not correct.

PS should publish original duration into EBS and not the one adjusted due to throughput.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Define throughput for a resource in PS
2. Solve the model
3. Publish the schedule in EBS
4. Re-collect the data -> Launch PS plan
5. Check the run time on the batch
