Last updated on NOVEMBER 08, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version to [Release 7.5.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When Customer Center gets launched from Web Page, it is first looking for Java 1.5 in the JNLP. According to the documentation, Customer Center needs to run with Java 1.7. the user changed the JNLP to use version 1.7, but it gives warning messages when it starts.

In order to be compatible with future versions of Java 1.7, this needs to be fixed. These warnings will eventually turn into the application not running.

1. On a Solaris server where IBM HTTP Server is in place, install Java 1.7.0_45 (tried with both 32bit and 64bit)
2. Deploy Customer Center to a web page so that it can be downloaded and run via Java Web Start.
3. Update java version to 1.7* in CustomerCenter_en.jnlp, 3plibs\ohj.jnlp, and 3plibs\orasoft.jnlp
4. Use Internet Explorer to click on the Customer Center JNLP link.
