LSH 22.214.171.124 and 126.96.36.199, for example users have a column/variable called STUDY_ID on at least 10 objects within a domain. If they want to update STUDY_ID variable on TAB1 to a length of 20, they would like to propagate this change so that STUDY_ID has the same length on TAB2, TAB3, TAB4, TAB5, ...TAB10.
Currently, this navigation below is not allowing users to upgrade the definition:
Maintain Domain > Domain: 3-7148386701_1 > Application Area: 3-7148386701 AA > Workarea: 3-7148386701 WA > Table Instance: TAB1 > Table Column: STUDY_ID > Actions --> Upgrade All Instances (GO)
They are noticing that the:
Columns / Parameters pointing to any Version of Variable: STUDY_ID section is blank and will not allow them to select any objects where this variable resides. This is the problem, they would like to be able to select the objects that they want this variable to be changed and they currently cannot. Or, they want to know if there is another way to propagate a column/variable change so they do not have to update each table manually.
