OPA Performance Test Errors (Doc ID 1907525.1)

Symptoms

On : 10.4.2.18 version, Oracle Policy Automation


Encounter some errors: Submit Empty Form with HTTP 500 internal server error.
This step does not involve Siebel integration as it is expected to receive error messages for the mandatory fields on the OPA screen.

From the Load Runner logs, these sort of errors are seen:
Error -26612: HTTP Status-Code=500 (Internal Server Error) for "http://XXX/siebel-web-determinations/XXXXX"

The Browser shows typically this error: [If you wish to revisit previous screens, please use one of the following links.] and the tomcat logs for the OPA shows the below error:
7344316 [http-bio-8080-exec-489] ERROR com.oracle.determinations.web.platform.templatingengine.ErrorRenderer



STEPS
-----------------------
OPA web-determinations is implemented with Siebel using 10.4.2 OPA-Siebel Connector. An OPA web-determination session is launched from Siebel and the form date filled in OPA interview screens is saved in Siebel. Executing performance testing for OPA with Siebel using Load Runner tool where 100 users sessions were launched simultaneously executing the use cases.

Below use cases for the test:

1. Launch OPA from Siebel (This will launch OPA with preseed Data fetched through IO mappings)
2. Click on goal hyperlink
3. Submit Empty form (this should raise errors on OPA screen to fill the mandatory fields)
4. Submit filled form (this will save the form date in session tables in Siebel)
5. Close the OPA browser window (End)

While performing the above steps for above 50 users (over 50 simultaneous sessions), users encounter the errors in the step 3.
