Symptoms

On Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC/NCC), when the Data Access Pack (DAP) process attempts to process/store a response from an ASP (Application Service Provider) which has a field longer than 41 bytes, the following kind of error message is raised in the log of the dapIf process :

The issue can be reproduced when one creates a DAP template to query an ASP and have the ASP return a string longer than 41 bytes.
