Display Order Not According Setup On Timelines Reason Code

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) 13.2.x, we find that the Timeline Reason Code (TLRC) display order, as established in Code Maintenance, is not respected in the associated LOV that appears when creating a new purchase order (PO).


Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Edit Timeline Reason Codes from Control > System > Code Maintenance.
  2. Ensure that reason code description text has numbers at the beginning, as this seems to affect the display order.
  3. Create a new PO.
  4. From Options, chose Timeline > New, then enter required values.
  5. Chose Reason Codes and click on the LOV.  Note that the codes are displayed according to the description and not to the pre-set display order in code maintenance.
