Import Forecast From Demantra To ASCP in Daily Bucket Yet Plan Output is in Weekly Bucket (Doc ID 1911960.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 15, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 12.1.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

From Demantra we are publishing the Forecast at daily buckets but when we look at the data in the ASCP workbench it is creating demand on a weekly bucket.

Example:

Data Published from Demantra

Date                Qty
29-Sep-2014        7
30-Sep-2014        7
01-Oct-2014        8
02-Oct-2014        9
03-Oct-2014        10
04-Oct-2014        7.3
05-Oct-2014        9.2

Forecast results seen in the Planner Workbench:

Date                  Qty
05-Oct-2014     - 7
05-Oct-2014      -7
05-Oct-2014      -8
05-Oct-2014      -9
05-Oct-2014      -10
05-Oct-2014      -7.3
05-Oct-2014      -9.2

Forecast results are expected to be as follows:

Date                  Qty
29-Sep-2014        -7
30-Sep-2014        -7
01-Oct-2014       -8
02-Oct-2014       - 9
03-Oct-2014        -10
04-Oct-2014       - 7.3
05-Oct-2014       - 9.2

Why are we seeing this behavior?
