FTP Adjustment Propagation is Updating Additional Columns When Used On User Defined Fields (Doc ID 1912486.1)

Last updated on MARCH 08, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Funds Transfer Pricing - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Oracle Financial Services Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP)
Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications Infrastructure (OFSAAI)

On FTP, it appears that rates are being incorrectly propagated when used in conjunction with an alternate rate output mapping rule.

After running FTP process, it has propagated rates correctly to the XIB_PIP_LIQUIDITY_RATE column as expected, but also calculated the other adjustment rate which is not expected since there is an alternate rate output mapping rule defined which means results should be populated in XIB_PIP_LIQUIDITY_RATE column for the contracts which has not been propagated.

Rate should only be calculated in XIB_PIP_LIQUIDITY_RATE.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. TP Standard Process has Adjustment Rule and Alternate Rate Output defined.
Adjustments is selected
Adjustment Propagation is selected
Alternate Rate Output is selected

Adjustment Rule:
Mortgages Full term view
Adjustment Type Selection: Other Adjustments ****
MBEEE_MO_Fixed Mortgages - Adj Method: Fixed Rate
Reference Term: Original Term

Alternate Rate Output Mapping Rule:
Transfer Rate: Transfer Rate
Matched Spread: Matched Spread
Remaining Term Transfer Rate: Remaining Term Transfer Rate
Other Adjustment Rate: Pipeline Liquidity Rate
Other Adjustment Amount: Other Adjustment Amount

2. Run the TP Process
