Duplicate Sessions Error When Opening Multiple OIPA Windows

On: OIPA version 9 and above:
When opening a new OIPA session in a new tab or window, the following error occurs and both sessions must be closed:
A duplicate session has been opened or your browser is running with a cookie-less session."
Steps to Reproduce
1. Log in to OIPA and navigate to any screen.
2. Open a new tab or new widow and create a new OIPA session
3. Navigate back to the first tab/window and to see the duplicate session error
