How do we instruct the engine to compress pre or post processing LTs instead of Processing LT in case of insufficient LT? (Doc ID 1913732.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 19, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 12.1.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The lead time offsetting in a constrained MRP plan is wrong. The engine is compressing the Processing LT even when the profile MSO: Lead Time Control is set to "Do not violdate minimum processing LT".
When there is not enough lead time to procure the item, the Processing LT is being compressed.
In the real business when there is compression, they will compress pre-processing lead time and post process lead time because that is what customers can control but they would not control supplier lead time
so process lead time should not be compressed

I would like to know whether with logic of ascp currently, does it support this business logic ?
