Receiving Fatal Exception Error When Amending End Date of Promotion Due to Purged Records in RPM_FUTURE_RETAIL Table (Doc ID 1913851.1)

A fatal Exception appears when changing the end date of an active promotion due to purged records in RPM_FUTURE_RETAIL table.

When amending an active promotion which is older than the promotion history months set up in RPM_SYSTEM_OPTIONS table, the system will purge all RPM_FUTURE_RETAIL records up to the start date of the promotion.
If the user then attempts to edit the promotion end date again to end the promotion earlier, the system will attempt to roll forward the RPM_FUTURE_RETAIL records.  To do this, it is expecting an RPM future retail record to exist prior to the promotion.  As this record has been purged, it will fail with the following fatal exception:
