In Oracle Retail Invoice Matching (ReIM) 13.2.x, it is observed that the Automatch batch process takes an extremely long time to execute. The main time consumption is happening in the V_IM_ORDLOC_STORES_PHYS_WH table. The top query is doing a lot of logical reads, and the performance hit is being taken as sorting is happening inside this view.
Sample Steps to Reproduce:
- Take count of RMTCH Invoices at the begining of the batch. (In sample test case, we began with 26402 invoices; number was reduced to 26055 after 3 hours of processing.)
- Run Automatch batch.
- Observe time it takes to process data.
