Work Order Getting Executed Successfully Without Invoking Any CSDL (Doc ID 1915024.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 18, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications ASAP - Version 7.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

An order is coming to ASAP with the wrong format. It is coming into the SRT and going into a bundle named "ADD".

Inside the SRT service bundle "ADD" , we have CSDL "<CSDL_CMD>" with the Expression (ACTION LIKE "AAA_SUBS") AND (SUBS_TYPE LIKE "POSTPAID")

Now, due to an invalid request structure , the SRT translation is not calculating the ACTION and SUBS_TYPE values, as those tags that are blank in the XML. In turn , <CSDL_CMD> would be validated to false and the CSDL would not be invoked .

However, ASAP is completing the order with WO_STAT=104 and closed.completed. The Upstream system is receiving a success response.

Ideally , in such conditions , ASAP would generate a failure response not success one.
