(Doc ID 1915557.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 17, 2021
Applies to:
Oracle Communications IP Service Activator - Version 7.2.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Purpose
A new Menu "Upgrade VRF Format" has been added to the device Properties page
User can check one of the following two options:
- “Entire Device” to upgrade all vrf’s on that device to “vrf definition”;
- “Selective Customer/VPN’ to see a tree of Customers and their VPNs on that device.
Once the user has made the selection, and clicked the “Upgrade” button, this sends “upgradeVrfFormat” request through ComponentParameters to its managing Network Processor. This is similar to how the IPSA Audit works.
When the NP and CiscoIOS cartridge receive the “upgradeVrfFormat” request, IPSA will find out the interested VRFs to upgrade, generate the CLI command, and update the device model in the database.
Scope
This functionality applies to IP Service Activator 7.2.0. patchset 7 and higher only.
