Cannot Download Attachments in Email Client, Due to Error "The RETR command did not complete successfully. Failed to retrieve the message."

The customer is facing an issue when trying to download emails from Mozilla Thunderbird.
Once the customer tries to download the email he receives an RETR Error.
The steps are:
1. Connect to IMAP from mail client.
2. Try to copy any email from the mail server to a local personal folder
