Oracle Agile Engineering Data Management - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On Oracle Agile e6.1.2.2
Find that when an user is not member of the access group for a document/file and he wants to open this file via the Officesuite from the office application by clicking on the office button "Open from Agile PLM" and then selecting the appropriate document. After that action nothing is happening. The user does not get any feedback what went wrong.

Expected Behavior:
Following message should appear (like when directly in the Office Document Mask a search for that document is executed and then clicked the button to check out the file of the document): Information message - [003] No write access!

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Prepare a document where the user DEMOEP has only read access
2. On a client machine where the Officesuite is installed start the Java Client with user DEMOEP
3. Start an office application (for example Microsoft Word)
4. In the office application press button "Open from Agile PLM" => In the Java Client a list with office documents opens
5. Select the one document prepared in step 1 and select "Take entry" from the context menu
=> The selection list closes but nothing else happens - no message appears that the user does not have access to this document.
