How To Resolve Problems with ORPATCH Utility When Applying Patches to RMS 14.0.1 (Doc ID 1920060.1)

This article assists in troubleshooting known problems with the ORPATCH utility that can arise when applying patches to Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) 14.0.1.

PROBLEM #1:  Below is the output when trying to apply the DB portion of the patch:

oracle:/batch/rms/mmhome/orpatch/bin> orpatch apply -s /batch/rms/mmhome/stage/18975630
10:56:20 08/18/2014 Patch manifest /batch/rms/mmhome/stage/18975630/manifest.csv not found

PROBLEM #2:  The following issue is seen when trying to apply a patch:

oracle:/batch/rms/mmhome/stage/19327587> $MMHOME/orpatch/bin/orpatch apply -s $MMHOME/stage/19327587
09:11:08 08/15/2014 Patch PATCH_19327587 for product RMS (Incremental)
