Agile PLM for Process Feature Pack 4.x and Extensibility Pack 3.x Compatibility (Doc ID 1920481.1)

Last updated on MAY 03, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Agile Product Lifecycle Management for Process - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

This document outlines the compatibility between Oracle's Agile PLM for Process Feature Packs (FPs) and Extensibility Packs (EPs) and the core PLM for Process product (where the "+" after version numbers denotes "this version and up"). This information should be used in determining the minimum required version of the core PLM for Process product in order to successfully deploy and use a particular FP/EP. For further details regarding the contents of each FP/EP, please refer to the associated documentation on the Oracle Technology Network (OTN) website (also hyperlinked in the table below).

Note: Oracle recommends that customers maintain their software as up-to-date as possible. In the case of PLM for Process EPs, it is also strongly recommended to uptake all contents of a given EP at once, to ensure consistent versioning and the latest fixes/features.

For an overview of the different extensibility points of the product, refer to the "Extensibility Guide" which can be found within the Extensibility Pack documentation on the Oracle Technology Network (OTN) website.

This document is intended for application administrators and system integrators. Deployment and maintenance of the PLM for Process Extensibility Pack its solution packs and reports requires a strong understanding of the particular extension points of interest, as well as any related portions of the technology stack. The EP components are extensions to the product, and as noted in the documentation require a background in software development for those that wish to implement them.
