On : 12.1.3 version, Memory Based Planner
Planned orders are created for lower items , also when CREATE SUPPLY = NO
It works fine when you turn on the profiles below to ¿Yes
but Oracle recommended to turn it off
MSC: Respect Minimum Remaining Shelf Life Days
MSO: Use Item Shelf Life Days in Scheduling Buy/Transfer Orders
It happens when there is a planned ¿Expired lot¿ and for the same quantity
that is expected to be expired
The issue is when the two profiles are set to No , plan creates orders for
the lower level substitute item even though the ¿Create Supply¿ item
attribute is set to No.
So basically its conflicting setting recommendations. For end item
substitution to work it needs to be set to Yes but then to resolve problem of
bug#18096507 , it needs to be set to No. Customer has set it to No in the
