In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) 13.2.x Brazil localization, the behavior of the system is inconsistent for tax calculation of complex packs.
Assume that there are 2 items:
Item A - NCM 34013000 - ICMS rate 8% for store X
Item B - NCM 33049990 - ICMS rate 4% for store X
Complex Pack P contains items A and B.
- Records posted to POS_MODS_TAX_INFO for a new item-loc (Item Master -> Locations -> Add new):
P - a median of ICMS rate of the both items A and B
- Records posted to POS_MODS_TAX_INFO during a refresh (execution of the tax refresh batches: refresh_extax_setup_retail.ksh, refresh_extax_process_retail.ksh, refresh_extax_finish_retail.ksh):
P - ICMS rate of item A - CST of item A - NCM of item A
P - ICMS rate of item B - CST of item B - NCM of item B
Both scenarios should follow the same behavior for posting to the POS_MODS_TAX_INFO table.
