Stop Sales Indicator in Item Location Trait Screen Is Not Mapped to Any Field in ItemImport.xml File (Missing Functionality) (Doc ID 1921200.1)

Last updated on APRIL 05, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 13.0 to 13.2.9 [Release 13.0 to 13.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Find that the 'Stop Sales Indicator' (Stop Sales IND) defined in the Item Loc Traits window is not mapped to any fields in the ItemImport.xml file.  As a result, when this file is sent to the Point of Service (ORPOS) system, changes to this indicator's values are not recognized, and items are still available for sale.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. In the Item Location Traits [itemloctrait] window, set an item to have Stop Sale Ind ='Yes'.
  2. Run BATCH_ORPOS_EXTRACT.
  3. Note that the generated file ItemImport.xml has no indicators for Stop Sales Ind. As a result of this, when the file is sent to POS, items are still available for sale.
