Userexit xdocty_change_type Not Executable For Multiple Documents in the Java Client (Doc ID 1922300.1)

Last updated on JULY 01, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Agile Engineering Data Management - Version to [Release 6.1.0 to 6.2.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On Oracle Agile Engineering Data Management e6.1.2.2 and e6.1.3 with the Java Client:

When attempting to execute a LogiView procedure containing:
RES=@xdocty_change_typ("DRAWING /NOCONFIRM /CLOSE")
RES=@xdocty_change_typ("/NOCONFIRM /CLOSE")
on more than one selected document
only one document is processed and then all selections are deselected again.

 With the Windows client all selected records are processed (document type is changed)

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Create a LogiView procedure containing following lines
10 WDG=widget_id()
20 ROW=row()
30 RES=@xdocty_change_typ("DRAWFILE /NOCONFIRM /CLOSE")
2. In the menu EDB-DOC-TLS (select menu of the type list for Drawings and 3D_MODELs) add a selection that calls this LogiView with lgv_sel_run
3. Reconfigure the menu
4. Open the the type list for Drawings and refresh
5. Select several documents and from the context menu select your new selection to convert the Drawings to Drawfiles

=> only the first selected document is converted.
Same issue happens if the first parameter is omitted and the target document type is selected by the user.
Same issue happens also if the userexit xdocty_change_typ is directly called in a select menu and the above mentioned parameters are passed.
