Running IHUB On Linux Requires Leaving A Terminal Window Active (Doc ID 1923008.1)

Last updated on JULY 30, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Media Intellectual Property Management - Version 3.3.19.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

We are running the Hub Manager on a Linux server. From the command prompt we execute: ./hub1.sh
This requires that we leave the terminal window active so to get around this we start a VNC session that can remain active after disconnecting from the server.
Our security team has flagged this as a problem.

Is there a way to run Hub Manger in the background (something like NOHUP but that does not work for hub1) and not require an active terminal session ?
